I worked with the 'Dead Space' Game Engineering team during my summer internship at Electronic Arts (2007).
Scope of Work
Worked for the XBox 360 and PC platform with the core game development team to implement new gameplay features for achieving a physics-based animation response on a per-bone basis. Wrote new features for the proprietary animation tool for artists.
tasks of note
My assignment was to get the dismemberment feature working for the main player. So as he was being killed by the space zombie attack, his head could technically get dismembered. It was a very morbid task, but I was successful.
